This years festival occurs throughout Indian Spring Park at the Historic Waco Suspension Bridge along the Brazos River in the heart of downtown Waco.

The Doris Miller Memorial Jury Committee selected the work of architect Stan Carroll, Oklahoma City, OK, and sculptor Eddie Dixon, Lubbock, TX, as the finalist for the Doris Miller Memorial Project. The project design was recently approved by the City of Waco. Fundraising is underway for the memorial of local, national and international importance.
The Cultural Arts of Waco seeks to establish an appropriate memorial to Doris Miller to commemorate the courage of his actions during WWII and sacrifice of his life at sea during active duty. Donations to help fund the Doris Miller Memorial can be made through PAYPAL

Mark Wood returns to Waco ISD
Like many other fine arts programs in Texas, art educators in Waco ISD work diligently to create interest in programs, as well as justify the need to maintain staffing levels and budgetary dollars. Mark Wood's visit to area schools is a continuation of the energy that started with the group Velocity.

Mahenwahdose at South Waco Elementary
Mahenwahdose will be bringing Native American music to a school that has not been served by the WCAF group before with a musical performance. South Waco Elementary School is a school that enrolls students from some of Waco's poorest families who have limited exposure to the arts.
