Jennifer Mabus class description: Contemporary Forms and Phrase Work: This class will consist of a gentle but thorough warm up for the day of dance. Drawing from many contemporary forms, the warm up and phrase work will include a focus on the articulation of the spine in relation to the limbs, functional core support, deepening the understanding of balance and off balance movement, and play with bound versus free qualities. The class will conclude with a choreographic phrase that will encourage individual choices in artistry and expression.

Ty Graynor's class description: The principles of José Limón value the inherent expressiveness of the human body through the use of breath and one's relationship to gravity. Class will explore the constant cycle of fall, rebound, and recovery as a means of exploring a courageous and expansive dance with space and weight.

Jaime Borkan's class description: This class is a contemporary class that focuses on moving the body through space using breath, groundedness, and emotional connection through movement. We pull from different techniques and methods including Gaga, improvisation, and other codified techniques. In my class, you will explore the emotional and physical connection of movement while continuing to hone your technical skills. It is your opportunity to combine movement, technique, and exploration to create your own unique artistic voice.

Torens Johnson's class description: Based on the principals of L. Horton, this class will explore laterals, release swings, balance & counterbalance, and core connections & explorations. We will progress from standing center work to phrases across the floor and finish with a dynamic combination.

Randall Flinn's class description: Modern A marvelous fusion of classic modern dance forms, Graham technique, but also flourishes with contemporary choreographic stylings. This class will also serve as the Perfect “get on your legs class” for all performers!”
